Agartala, September 12: A modern motor stand coming up at Jolaibari in South Tripura is expected to strengthen local transport infrastructure and provide better facilities for commuters, Transport Minister Sushanta Chowdhury said on Saturday.
Chowdhury visited the project site and reviewed the ongoing construction, including the progress and quality of the work. Jolaibari MLA Pramod Reang, senior officials of the Transport Department and local public representatives were present during the inspection.
The Minister discussed the implementation of the project with the officials and reviewed various issues concerning the ongoing construction. He directed the authorities to resolve any hurdles affecting the work and ensure that construction continues without unnecessary delay.
