Aguli News 19-11-2022: As a part of Good Governance campaign in each house, 19 crore district wise development fair was held today at Mansi Auditorium. The program was inaugurated by the district commissioner of Unkoti district. Vishal Kumar Chairperson of Kumarghat Municipal Council Biswajit Das presided. Labor, Livestock Development, Food, Conservation, Fisheries, Pecharthal Block, Power Corporation, Tripura Rural Livelihood Mission of Kumarghat and Pecharthal Block, School Education, Social Welfare and Social Education, Kumarghat Municipal Council, Kumarghat Sub-division Administration, Elections, Forest, Drinking Water and Sanitation, Kumarghat Block, Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Gardens, Banks, Health and District Disabled Rehabilitation Center open stalls and provide services to the public from their respective offices.
Speaking at the inaugural address, the District Magistrate said. Vishal Kumar said that people in rural areas are often busy with various activities. As a result, they have problems in accepting various government facilities. Through this program the administration is reaching people easily. He expressed the hope that the socio-economic living standards of the people of Kumarghat will be further improved from the benefits of various government projects in the coming days.
In the event, member of Unkoti Zilla Parishad and President of Agriculture Standing Committee Subhendu Das said that the main goal of the government is to reach the benefits of various projects to the poor people. Good governance campaign is going on in every house to speed up this work. He urged the people of all parts to come forward to maintain this system. Sub-Divisional Ruler of Kumarghat sub-division Subrata Kumar Das delivered the welcome address.
At the Bikash Mela, the guests formally received bank loan approvals from Kumarghat Municipal Council, Deen Dayal Upadhyay National Urban Livelihood Mission to 3 self-help groups, identity cards to 2 pavement traders under Pradhan Mantri Swanidhi scheme, gas connection with furnace to 1 person under Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana from Food Department and new ration card to 1 family, fish 3 beneficiaries were given fish seedlings including lobsters from the office and work orders to 1 person for water tank renovation, bank loans to 6 self help groups from Tripura Rural Livelihood Mission under Pecharthal and Kumarghat blocks. Apart from this, 3 beneficiaries received power tillers and 4 beneficiaries received rice harvesters from the Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare.
