Agartala, 12 July 2026: A ray of hope has emerged in the fight to save little Manasri Chowdhury, as social worker Hussain Mansuri has extended financial assistance of ₹5 lakh towards her treatment. Meanwhile, the life-saving injection required for her treatment, reportedly priced at around ₹18 crore in the international market, may be available for approximately ₹9 crore if a special discount is secured.
In an emotional moment, Manasri’s parents broke down before Mansuri and pleaded for help to save their child. Overwhelmed by their daughter’s suffering and the enormous cost of treatment, the parents appealed for support with tears in their eyes.

After visiting Manasri’s home and speaking at length with the family, Mansuri learned about the child’s health condition, the uncertainty surrounding her treatment and the family’s struggle to arrange the required funds. Moved by their situation, he handed over a cheque of ₹5 lakh to support Manasri’s treatment.
At the same time, there is fresh hope regarding the cost of the life-saving injection. According to sources associated with the family, although the injection is said to cost around ₹18 crore in the international market, a special discount from the pharmaceutical company could potentially bring the price down to approximately ₹9 crore.
However, completing the necessary procedures to secure the discounted price and arranging the required funds within the stipulated time remain crucial.
Manasri’s family continues to appeal to people from all sections of society for financial assistance. They hope that with collective support, the required amount can be raised in time to ensure that the child receives the life-saving treatment she urgently needs.
Mansuri also appealed to philanthropists, well-wishers and members of the public to come forward and support Manasri’s fight for life. For the family, every contribution now represents a step towards giving their daughter a chance to receive the treatment she needs.
