1. One of the strong steps taken by the State Government is the immediate recruitment of 6067 Special Executive posts under the Home Department, who will be deployed to assist the police in all the police stations in rural and urban areas of the state. This move by the state government will surely provide more security to the people of the state.
2. The State Cabinet in yesterday’s meeting decided to recruit three thousand one hundred and eight (3108) teachers from among the eligible candidates who passed TET. Out of them 757 posts are for Under Graduate Teachers and 23 51 posts are for Graduate Teachers at Upper Primary Level.
3. Keeping in mind those who are deprived of social benefits, the state government has announced a new scheme called “Chief Minister Social Assistance Scheme”. Thirty thousand (30,000) new beneficiaries have been brought under this scheme, who will now get a monthly allowance of two thousand rupees.
4. The State Government has opened the doors of promotion to the State employees by overcoming the long backlog of promotions. As a result, doctors who were deprived of promotion for a long time have started getting the benefits of promotion. For example, 277 doctors of the state got promotion in the last two days. Which was previously unimaginable. I have personally observed that in many places both father and son are doctors and both hold government jobs in the same grade. Which cannot be imagined in this land of India. Now our government is slowly finding a way out of those deprivations.
It was also decided in yesterday’s state cabinet meeting that an additional fifteen percent (15%) would be increased in the expenditure borne by the state government for the payment of salaries to all Anganwadi workers, Anganwadi helpers and “Asha” workers working in the state.
