Agartala 18 April: Assam Rifles Public School (ARPS), Agartala, successfully organised its Maiden Annual School Fete 2026 on 18th April 2026, marking a vibrant and memorable milestone in the school’s journey. The event witnessed an overwhelming participation of approximately 2500 students, parents, and staff, creating an atmosphere of joy, unity, and celebration.
The fete was graced by the esteemed presence of Chief Guest, Brigadier Nishant Chandel, whose encouragement and support added great significance to the occasion.
The main intention of organising the programme was to provide a fresh and happy start to the new academic session, ensuring that students begin their journey with enthusiasm, positivity, and a sense of belonging. The initiative successfully infused a spirit of excitement and happiness among all attendees.
A distinctive feature of the fete was the thoughtful initiative by the school management to make all food and game stalls completely free of cost. Ensuring inclusivity and equal participation, no charges were levied on students or parents, with all expenses generously borne by the school management. This gesture was widely appreciated and contributed to the festive spirit of the day.
The event featured a wide variety of food stalls offering delicious treats and engaging game stalls that kept children and parents entertained throughout. The cultural programme added further charm, showcasing the talents of students through music, dance, and performances that reflected creativity and enthusiasm.
A special highlight of the programme was the felicitation of Class X examination toppers, recognising their academic excellence and inspiring fellow students to strive for success.
