Agartala: Apr 10. On the final day of campaigning for the TTAADC elections, BJP candidate for 7-Damcherra–Kachucherra constituency and party General Secretary Bipin Debbarma on Friday organised a rally at Nepal Tilla with supporters from the Booth Shakti Kendra, urging voters to back the party for overall development.
Addressing residents, Debbarma appealed to voters to support the BJP in alignment with the central leadership under Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the state government led by Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha. He emphasised that a “triple-engine government” would accelerate development and beautification across TTAADC areas.
He also urged voters to turn up early on April 12 and cast their votes peacefully at their respective polling booths.
Highlighting key issues, Debbarma assured that problems such as water scarcity and poor road infrastructure in Damcherra–Kachucherra and overall TTAADC areas would be addressed if the BJP forms the government. He maintained that such development would be possible only under BJP leadership.
Taking a swipe at the opposition, he accused rival parties of indulging in “emotional politics” and asked voters to assess the performance of the Motha-led administration over the past five years in the TTAADC.
He concluded by appealing to voters to support all 28 BJP candidates in the upcoming elections, citing alleged inefficiencies of the current administration as a reason for change.
