Tripura, 05 April: In a prompt and courageous rescue operation, personnel of the Border Security Force (BSF) saved 22 passengers after a private vehicle met with an accident in the Jalabasti area (Panisagar) of Tripura.
Soon after the incident, BSF jawans from the nearby BOP Jalabasti rushed to the spot and immediately launched a rescue operation. Acting swiftly and efficiently, they managed to bring all the passengers out of the damaged vehicle safely.
Among the passengers, 11 people sustained injuries and were immediately shifted to the nearest hospital for medical treatment.
According to official sources, no casualties have been reported in the incident. The timely intervention and humanitarian response of the BSF helped avert what could have turned into a major tragedy.
The incident once again highlights that, beyond guarding the nation’s borders, BSF personnel remain ever-ready to serve humanity in times of crisis.
