Bishalgarh: Feb 26. Union Minister of State for Science and Technology, Jitendra Singh, chaired a review meeting on developmental projects in Sepahijala district on Thursday afternoon at the District Magistrate’s conference hall in Bishramganj.
The meeting was attended by Higher Education Minister Kishor Barman, Zilla Parishad Sabhadhipati Supriya Das Dutta, District Magistrate Dr. Siddharth Shiv Jaiswal, and several MLAs including Antara Sarkar Deb, Manab Debbarma, Biswajit Koloi and Tofazzal Hossain, along with MDC Umashankar Debbarma. Officials from various line departments, three sub-divisions and seven blocks were also present.
The Union Minister was felicitated by district authorities and presented with traditional honours and locally produced items made by self-help groups.
The review focused on the progress of key government schemes and implementation status across departments in the district.
