Tripura, Feb 19: The foundation stone for a permanent Press Club building in Amarpur was laid yesterday by MLA Ranjit Das. The new building will be constructed near the Amarpur Town Hall.
The programme was attended by Amarpur Nagar Panchayat Chairperson Bikash Saha, President of Amarpur Press Club Pranamay Saha, and other members of the press club.
The Press Club building will be developed at an estimated cost of ₹25 lakh from the MLA’s development fund.
While laying the foundation stone, MLA Ranjit Das urged media personnel to work together for the overall development of the state.
