Tripura, 07 Feb 2026: A health camp was successfully organised by Seven Sisters Development Assistance (SeSTA) under the Tribal Development Fund (TDF) Project, supported by National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD), at the Raishyabari Community Hall under Raishyabari RD Block. The camp witnessed enthusiastic participation from TDF beneficiaries and local villagers.
The camp was conducted with the support of Raishyabari Primary Health Centre. The medical team, including Community Health Officers (CHOs) Ananta Das, Shyamal Tripura and Anand Debbarma, carried out routine health check-ups and basic medical examinations. Free medicines were distributed on the spot, while patients with serious health conditions were referred for further medical care.

Other dignitaries present on the occasion included Varun Tiwari (TRIBES Consultant, NABARD) and Rahul Debnath (TRIBES Consultant, NABARD), who interacted with participants and reviewed the implementation of the TDF initiative at the grassroots level.
As SeSTA is a women collective organisation, special focus was given to menstrual hygiene awareness. Along with medicines, sanitation essentials and menstrual hygiene materials were distributed among women participants to encourage safe and hygienic practices.

The programme was organised with the cooperation of the Block Development Officer (BDO), Raishyabari RD Block, and with support from the Tripura Rural Livelihood Mission (TRLM), ensuring smooth coordination of the event.
More than 80 villagers benefited from the services provided during the camp. The initiative aimed to enhance access to basic healthcare facilities and strengthen health and hygiene awareness among Indigenous and local communities in the Raishyabari area.
