Ambassa, Feb 5: The Sampoornata Abhiyan 2.0, an initiative under NITI Aayog aimed at achieving 100 per cent saturation of key development indicators, was formally launched on Thursday at the Ganganagar Community Hall in Dhalai district. The campaign will continue till April 18 and will cover seven Village Committee areas of the Ganganagar block.
The programme was inaugurated by MDC Bhumika Nanda Reang in the presence of Additional District Magistrate Vanlaldika Darlong, Sub-Divisional Magistrate Rinku Reang, BDO Debarun Debbarma, along with public representatives and senior officials from various departments.
Under Sampurnata Abhiyan 2.0, focused interventions will be carried out based on six key indicators, including education, health and nutrition, with the objective of achieving 100 per cent success across all parameters.
Ganganagar block is among the 500 specially identified blocks across the country selected for targeted development. Keeping this in view, multiple welfare and development programmes have been planned for the overall progress of the area, with Sampurnata Abhiyan 2.0 being a major initiative in this direction.
The authorities expressed confidence that coordinated efforts by different departments would help improve human development outcomes and ensure comprehensive coverage of government schemes in the block.
