Tripura, 28 November 2025:
The Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC) has officially announced the launch of a major livelihood initiative under the TIPRA HAM scheme, inviting applications from unemployed Tiprasa youths for subsidised Bajaj Passenger & Goods Carrier E-Autos. A total of 1,600 e-autos will be distributed during the 2025–26 financial year.
According to the memorandum issued by the Office of the Principal Officer (Industries & Commerce), TTAADC, each selected beneficiary will receive a subsidy of ₹80,000, which will be directly deposited with Tripura Automobiles, the authorised dealer. Beneficiaries must pay only the required margin money based on the selected model.
Margin Money Requirement
• Passenger E-Auto (9 kW): ₹25,000
• Goods Carrier E-Auto (9 kW): ₹30,000
• Goods Carrier E-Auto (12 kW): ₹35,000
The application fee has been fixed at ₹300 (non-refundable), to be submitted through the respective Zonal and Sub-Zonal Offices.
Eligibility Criteria
As per the notification and guidelines:
• Applicant must be an unemployed Tiprasa youth aged 21–45 years.
• Must be a permanent resident of TTAADC area.
• Minimum qualification: Class VIII pass.
• Household must have an electricity connection, required for charging.
• Only one person per family can apply.
• Applicants who previously received an e-auto under TIPRA HAM are not eligible.
Loan & Repayment
The remaining cost of the vehicle (after subsidy and margin money) will be financed, to be repaid by the beneficiary in monthly instalments over a period of up to 48 months.
The vehicle itself will serve as collateral (hypothecation).
Installation charges for the electric charging point will not be borne by the beneficiary.
Application Process
Eligible youths can submit their applications from 28 November 2025 to 16 December 2025 through the designated Zonal/Sub-Zonal offices.
Applicants must attach:
• Aadhaar Card
• PAN Card
• Age Proof
• Educational Qualification
• Caste Certificate
• Valid Driving Licence
• Bank Passbook
• ROR/Family Ration Card
The final selection will be made by a scrutiny committee, and loan approval will be processed through Bajaj Auto Credit Ltd. (BACL). TTAADC retains the right to reject any application without assigning reasons.
