Agartala: Nov 11. Dharmanagar Government Degree College came alive with festivity on Tuesday as it celebrated its 47th Foundation Day with grandeur and enthusiasm. The highlight of the day was a colourful rally that witnessed participation from over 3,000 students.
The rally, which began from the college campus, traversed through the main streets of the town and culminated at the BBI Ground. The event, held from 3 PM, saw the presence of North Tripura Zilla Sabhadhipati Aparna Nath, the college principal Gautam Das, vice-principal, faculty members from various departments, and several cultural groups. The students’ spirited participation added vibrancy to the celebration, making the day truly memorable.

Following the rally, a heartfelt tribute was paid to the late college student Mishuk Nath (Shanu), whose untimely demise had deeply saddened the college community. The homage was offered at the BBI Ground, marking a poignant end to an otherwise joyous occasion.
