Agartala: Nov 09. Tipra Motha Party’s senior leader and one of the most vocal advocates on issues concerning the indigenous Tiprasa community, MLA Ranjit Debbarma of the Tripura Legislative Assembly, has been officially invited to attend the National Convention on Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas 2025 as a Special Guest.
The national event, commemorating the 150th Birth Anniversary of Dharti Aba Bhagwan Birsa Munda, will be held on November 16, 2025, at the Swarna Jayanti Auditorium, Lady Hardinge Medical College, New Delhi, from 10 AM to 5 PM.
Organised under the theme “Unity in Diversity: Adivasi Strength for a Stronger Nation,” the convention aims to celebrate the rich cultural identity, unity, and contributions of India’s tribal communities.
Leaders such as Union Minister for Tribal Affairs Jual Oram, Union Minister of State (MoS) Durga Das Uikey, and MP Faggan Singh Kulaste, Chairman of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on SC/ST, will grace the event, alongside other tribal leaders and achievers from across the country.
The programme will feature traditional tribal performances, felicitation of tribal achievers, and discussions on the life and legacy of Birsa Munda, whose contribution to India’s freedom struggle continues to inspire tribal movements nationwide.
