New Delhi\/Singapore, March 8 (SHABD): <\/strong>India and Singapore<\/a><\/strong> convened the 18th round of Foreign Office Consultations in Singapore on Thursday, focusing on strengthening bilateral cooperation and advancing their Comprehensive Strategic Partnership. The Indian delegation was led by Jaideep Mazumdar, Secretary (East) in the Ministry of External Affairs, while the Singaporean side was headed by Luke Goh, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs<\/a><\/strong>. Discussions covered a wide range of bilateral and multilateral issues, with both sides reviewing key areas of cooperation, including defence, trade, investments, and cultural exchanges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Special emphasis was placed on six pillars of collaboration: Digitalization, Skills Development, Sustainability, Healthcare and Medicine, Advanced Manufacturing, and Connectivity. The two sides also deliberated on regional and global developments of mutual interest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A key agenda item was the implementation roadmap for the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, which was announced during Prime Minister Narendra Modi\u2019s visit to Singapore in September last year.
