To build a self-reliant India, greater emphasis must be placed on using indigenous products. Tripura Governor Indrasena Reddy Nallu made these remarks while inaugurating the State Credit Seminar organized by NABARD at Hotel Polo Tower today. The Governor further stated that to achieve a developed India, a well-defined roadmap must be established now. He emphasized that Tripura\u2019s economic growth could be significantly boosted if industries were built around the state\u2019s natural resources. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As part of the inaugural event, the State Focus Paper 2025-26 was also launched by the Governor and other dignitaries. In his speech, Governor Nallu highlighted that industrial development would create employment opportunities. He stressed the need for advanced training for locals to develop industries based on natural resources such as agarwood, queen pineapple, rubber, tea, and bamboo. He also pointed out the potential for large-scale employment and financial benefits through fisheries. Speaking at the event, Secretary of the Industry and Commerce Department, Kiran Gitte, urged financial institutions to provide easier loan access to local entrepreneurs. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Other speakers included Surendra Nidhar, General Manager of the Reserve Bank of India\u2019s Tripura branch, and Apurba Roy, Secretary of the Finance Department. The seminar commenced with a welcome address by NABARD\u2019s Tripura General Manager, Anil S.
