She began her tour by visiting the Bamboo and Cane Development Institute (BCDI) in Lichubagan, where she explored the Bamboo Pathshala and Nursery. Later, she inaugurated a training-cum-production program on bamboo jewelry making, in which women artisans from various parts of the state participated. During her visit, she interacted with the artisans and learned about their experiences. She highlighted their eco-friendliness and vast employment opportunities. She stated that her visit to Tripura was aimed at understanding the techniques, benefits, and applications of bamboo cultivation. Additionally, she expressed interest in launching a Bamboo Mission in Maharashtra and mentioned the possibility of signing an MoU between the Maharashtra and Tripura governments in this regard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Later, a discussion session on \u201cBamboo Value Chain Development, Including Propagation and Plantation\u201d was held at the BCDI conference hall.
