On February 11, 2025, a special cataract surgery camp was organized at the hospital\u2019s ophthalmology department. During the camp, specialist eye doctors provided treatment to patients suffering from various eye problems. Those diagnosed with cataracts were selected for free cataract surgery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A total of 26 patients underwent cataract surgery on the day. The surgeries were performed by IGM Hospital\u2019s expert ophthalmic surgeons, including Dr. Madhusudan Das, Dr. Shiuli Das, and Dr. Shyamrup Bhattacharjee. Alongside the specialist doctors, a team of assisting nursing officers, including Nupur Chakraborty, Bhavita Kalai, Nitu Debbarma, and Suman Bhattacharjee, played a crucial role in the procedures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Following the surgeries, doctors provided post-operative care instructions to the patients and distributed necessary medicines and protective sunglasses free of cost.
