The event was inaugurated by Tripura\u2019s Minister of Science, Technology, and Environment, <strong>Animesh Debbarma<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During his interaction with students, the minister discussed in detail the economic and environmental significance of bamboo in Tripura. Later, speaking to journalists, he emphasized that bamboo is a unique forest resource crucial for the state\u2019s economic development. He stated that large-scale bamboo cultivation can significantly help mitigate climate change in the state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He further highlighted that Tripura\u2019s soil is highly suitable for bamboo production, making it an economically valuable resource. By utilizing bamboo efficiently, the people of Tripura can achieve economic prosperity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The welcome address at the workshop was delivered by <strong>Dr. Abhinav Kant<\/strong>, In-Charge of BCDI.
