On January 28, healthcare workers from Kumarghat Sub-Divisional Hospital under Unakoti district conducted an immunization drive in the remote villages of Sadhu Chandra Para, Sarki Para, and Ramnarayan Para, located approximately 14 km away from Deovalley Ayushman Arogya Mandir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>During this program, 17 individuals, including 2 pregnant women and 15 children, received various vaccines to protect against multiple diseases. The vaccines administered included:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>\u2022 Pentavalent Vaccine for protection against diphtheria, tetanus, whooping cough, hepatitis B, and Haemophilus influenzae type B.<br>\u2022 Rotavirus Vaccine for diarrhea prevention.<br>\u2022 Oral Polio Vaccine (OPV) &amp; Fractional Inactivated Polio Vaccine (fIPV) for polio prevention.<br>\u2022 Measles-Rubella (MR) Vaccine to prevent measles and rubella.<br>\u2022 Japanese Encephalitis Vaccine (Jenvac) to prevent Japanese encephalitis.<br>\u2022 Pneumococcal Conjugate Vaccine (PCV) to prevent pneumonia.<br>\u2022 Vitamin A supplements to prevent night blindness.<br>\u2022 Tetanus-Diphtheria (TD) Vaccine for pregnant women to protect against tetanus and diphtheria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Along with the immunization process, healthcare workers also conducted awareness sessions for parents and pregnant women, explaining the importance of vaccination for maternal and child health.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The immunization drive was attended by MPW Dipankar Banik, ASHA workers Antirung Reang and Kuslaiti Reang.
