In his message, the Governor stated, \u201cTripura attained full statehood on January 21, 1972, under the North-Eastern Areas (Reorganization) Act, 1971. I respectfully remember the contributions of all the leaders who played a significant role in facilitating the state\u2019s formation. I sincerely thank the citizens, brave warriors, students, youth, police, military, paramilitary forces, and officials and staff of the central and state governments for their support and cooperation in advancing Tripura.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Governor also emphasized the importance of using this special day to pledge collective efforts for the prosperity and welfare of the state.
