{"id":8332,"date":"2025-01-10T18:20:34","date_gmt":"2025-01-10T18:20:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/aguli.in\/?p=8332"},"modified":"2025-01-11T08:37:43","modified_gmt":"2025-01-11T08:37:43","slug":"tsf-demands-kokborok-script-recognition-in-tripura","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/aguli.in\/index.php\/2025\/01\/10\/tsf-demands-kokborok-script-recognition-in-tripura\/","title":{"rendered":"TSF Demands Kokborok Script Recognition in Tripura"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Twipra Students\u2019 Federation (TSF) Protests for Kokborok Script Recognition<\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Agartala 10 Jan, 2025:<\/strong> The<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Twipra_Students%27_Federation\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Twipra_Students%27_Federation\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> <strong>Twipra Students\u2019 Federation<\/strong><\/a><strong> <\/strong>(TSF) staged a protest at Agartala today, urging legislators to address the Kokborok script issue during the ongoing winter session of the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/aguli.in\/index.php\/2025\/01\/10\/tripura-assembly-cm-saha-tripura-overcomes-devastating-floods-with-collective-support\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/aguli.in\/index.php\/2025\/01\/10\/tripura-assembly-cm-saha-tripura-overcomes-devastating-floods-with-collective-support\/\">Tripura <\/a>Legislative Assembly<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>TSF General Secretary <strong>John Debbarma<\/strong> reiterated the organization\u2019s demand for Kokborok question papers to be prepared in both <strong>Roman<\/strong> and <strong>Bengali<\/strong> scripts in all board examinations. He also emphasized TSF\u2019s mission to push for the passage of a language script bill to officially recognize the Roman script for <strong>Kokborok<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Supporters of<strong> TSF<\/strong> held placards and raised slogans at the roundabout near Hotel Polo Towers. However, their march toward the Secretariat was halted by Tripura Police.
