The event was marked by a vibrant parade and a call for collective action toward peace, stability, and development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p1\">Delivering the keynote address as Chief Guest, the minister emphasized the importance of solidarity in nation-building. \u201cTo ensure peace, harmony, and overall development, we must work together as one. Unity and cooperation are the primary tools to propel our nation forward,\u201d she said. The well-coordinated display of discipline and preparedness captivated the audience, underscoring the vital role these forces play in maintaining security and responding to emergencies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p4\"><strong>Addressing Youth Empowerment and Substance Abuse<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p1\">Minister Santana Chakma also used the occasion to spotlight the government\u2019s commitment to combating drug addiction among the youth. She called for the active involvement of clubs, NGOs, and citizens in creating a drug-free society. \u201cThe government is leaving no stone unturned to protect our youth from addiction. Darlong praised the Home Guards for their role in maintaining security at key locations and police stations across the state. He also commended their efforts in counter-insurgency operations and emphasized the invaluable contribution of the Civil Defence Force in disaster management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p4\"><strong>Governor and Chief Minister Extend Congratulations<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p1\">The state\u2019s leadership also acknowledged the significance of the day. Messages of congratulations from Governor Sushri Indra Sena Reddy Nallu and Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha were read out by Director of Civil Defence, J.V. Doati. Both leaders expressed their gratitude to the Home Guards and Civil Defence personnel for their unwavering commitment to public service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p4\"><strong>Honoring Excellence<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p1\">As part of the ceremony, 15 Civil Defence volunteers and Apada Mitras (disaster response volunteers) were felicitated for their outstanding contributions to disaster management and emergency response.
