This groundbreaking surgery marks a significant advancement in cancer treatment within the state of <strong>Tripura<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>A Challenging Case<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The patient, hailing from Gomati district, faced severe breathing difficulties due to the cancer&#8217;s spread to her windpipe. The <strong>ABVRCC<\/strong> medical team, led by a team of experienced Head and Neck Oncology specialists, swiftly intervened with an Emergency Tracheostomy to alleviate her respiratory distress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>A Complex Procedure<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On November 22, 2024, the team underwent a six-hour-long surgery involving Total <strong>Thyroidectomy<\/strong>, Trachea Resection, and Anastomosis.
