Road Phagwara. This was followed by the election proceedings conducted in adherence to the NESOJ Constitution.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"MsoNormal wp-block-paragraph\">After a meticulous process, the following executives were elected for the 2024-2025 term:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"MsoNormal wp-block-paragraph\">1.&nbsp;&nbsp;President: Archita Dutta (Assam)&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"MsoNormal wp-block-paragraph\">2. Vice President: Alicia Kharbuki (Meghalaya)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"MsoNormal wp-block-paragraph\">&nbsp;3. General Secretary: Oryan Lama (Sikkim)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"MsoNormal wp-block-paragraph\">&nbsp;4. Assistant General Secretary: Kristi Mech (Nagaland)&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"MsoNormal wp-block-paragraph\">5. Finance Secretary: Daryll Cajee (Meghalaya)&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"MsoNormal wp-block-paragraph\">6. Assistant Finance Secretary: Tai Reniam Avi (Arunachal Pradesh)&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"MsoNormal wp-block-paragraph\">7. Cultural Secretary: Parikarma Thapa (Sikkim)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"MsoNormal wp-block-paragraph\">&nbsp;8. Assistant Cultural Secretary: Agun (Tripura)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"MsoNormal wp-block-paragraph\">&nbsp;9. Sports Secretary: Yemling Padung (Arunachal Pradesh)&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"MsoNormal wp-block-paragraph\">10. Assistant Sports Secretary: Palil Laishom (Manipur)&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"MsoNormal wp-block-paragraph\">11. Women\u2019s Secretary: Juliana MS Dawngzuali (Mizoram)&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"MsoNormal wp-block-paragraph\">12. Media &amp; Publicity Secretary: Raya Debbarma (Tripura)&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"MsoNormal wp-block-paragraph\">13. Literary Secretary: (Vacant)&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"MsoNormal wp-block-paragraph\">14. Assistant Literary Secretary: Sathavi Sale (Nagaland)&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"MsoNormal wp-block-paragraph\">15. Information &amp; Database Secretary: Angshuman Chetia (Assam)&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"MsoNormal wp-block-paragraph\">16. Assistant Information &amp; Database Secretary: Ishwarlal Rajkumar (Manipur)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The 9th President of NESOJ for the new term, Archita Dutta, is the first woman to hold this position, marking a significant milestone in NESOJ&#8217;s history. Archita\u2019s leadership represents a step forward in empowering women and fostering inclusivity within the organization.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The oath-taking ceremony was officiated by Major Duzo Kiso, symbolizing the commitment of the newly elected members to serve NESOJ with dedication and integrity.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the Presidential address, Archita Dutta congratulated the newly elected executives and expressed her confidence in their collective efforts to drive NESOJ\u2019s vision forward. She emphasized the organization&#8217;s responsibility to its members across all eight states and reaffirmed her commitment to NESOJ\u2019s core values of unity, culture, and excellence.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Archita highlighted key priorities for the upcoming tenure, including the formal registration of NESOJ, the development of a dedicated website as a digital hub for activities and updates, the establishment of an emergency fund to assist members in critical situations, the creation of a comprehensive blood group database for timely medical support, and strengthening ties with state and central governments, along with other North East organizations, to foster better opportunities for the community. This was followed by a vote of thanks by Mr. Laitphar Syiem, member of the nomination committee.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The North-East Students&#8217; Organisation Jalandhar (NESOJ) was established in 2013 with the motto &#8220;Integrity, Prosperity, and Excellence.&#8221; NESOJ is committed to representing and supporting the interests of NorthEastern students in Jalandhar, Punjab, and fostering a sense of community and unity among its members.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This election marks a new chapter for NESOJ as it continues to represent and serve the interests of North East students in Jalandhar.
