After nearly a decade of DJing, DJ Rislyn Debbarma<\/a><\/strong> is taking a bold step into a new chapter of her musical journey. Known as Tripura\u2019s first female DJ from the Indigenous community<\/strong>, she has performed across different countries, building a reputation for her energetic sets and unique style.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rislyn recently announced that she has completed recording her debut Kokborok song,<\/strong> a project she is both excited and nervous about. Sharing the news on social media on November 18, she expressed her happiness and pride in stepping into this new role as a singer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project has been shaped under the mentorship of Swkang Debbarma<\/strong>, a prominent music Director and owner of Melody Caf\u00e9, and supported by singer Basrang Debbarma.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rislyn\u2019s decision to sing in her mother tongue, Kokborok, marks a significant moment for her and her fans, who are eagerly awaiting the release of her first song.
