Agartala 06 November, 2024: <\/strong>In the 35th edition of the \u2018Mukhyamantri Samipeshu\u2019 program, people from across the state met with Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha to address their various grievances. Most attendees sought assistance for medical treatment, and the Chief Minister reviewed their cases and immediately directed the relevant officials to take necessary action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bijoy Debbarma from Lefunga, seeking help for his 8-year-old daughter\u2019s treatment, explained to the Chief Minister that his daughter has a rare femur-related condition and that he has exhausted his savings on her medical expenses. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Upon reviewing the documents, Dr. Saha directed Dr. Tapan Majumder, the Medical Superintendent at GB Hospital, to provide the required support. Additionally, he instructed the Social Welfare Secretary, Tapas Roy, to explore further assistance for Bijoy Debbarma.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Shyamal Karmakar, a resident of Palace Compound in Agartala, also met with the Chief Minister seeking aid for his wife\u2019s treatment. His wife recently suffered a brain stroke, affecting her vision, and requires costly injections for her recovery. The Chief Minister examined the case and directed GB Hospital officials to extend the necessary support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ratna Dutta from Kamalpur approached the Chief Minister seeking help for her son\u2019s spinal cord surgery, which is financially beyond her means. Responding to her request, Dr. Saha directed the concerned officials to take swift action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lakshmi Rani Das from Amtali requested assistance for her 31-year-old son, who is undergoing dialysis due to kidney failure. Given her financial constraints, she is struggling to cover the expenses. Dr. Saha reviewed the case and directed GB Hospital to provide aid and instructed officials to provide a Jan Arogya Yojana card to support her family\u2019s medical needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through the \u2018Mukhyamantri Samipeshu\u2019 program, Chief Minister Saha has committed to standing by every individual who comes forward with their issues, ensuring swift resolutions to their grievances.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Other officials present at the program included Dr. Pradeep Kumar Chakraborty, Secretary to the Chief Minister; Health Secretary Kiran Gitte; Social Welfare Secretary Tapas Roy; and Medical Superintendent of GB Hospital Dr. Tapan Majumder, among others.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
