The Tripura government has also extended its financial assistance to expedite the completion of the renovation project, which began with the laying of the foundation stone by former President Ramnath Kovind on June 7, 2018. The project is now nearing completion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once the renovation is complete, the temple is expected to emerge as a premier religious tourism hub in India, drawing even more domestic and international visitors. This growth in tourism will likely boost local businesses in Matabari and surrounding areas, creating new income opportunities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The inaugural event was graced by several dignitaries, including Finance Minister Pranajit Singha Roy, Gomati Zilla Parishad Chairman Debal Debroy, MLAs Rampada Jamatia and Jitendra Majumder, and other local leaders.
