The incident occurred around 1:30 p.m. at the residence of Chandan Majumder, where RCC pillar construction was underway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to eyewitnesses, while placing iron rods for the RCC pillar, one of the rods came into contact with a high-voltage power line running along the street. Subrata Karmakar (Kalu), a mason and resident of Shaltilla, was electrocuted on the spot. The other three workers, including a female laborer, were rushed to Belonia Hospital, where they are currently undergoing treatment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Upon receiving the news, Belonia fire service personnel promptly arrived at the scene and transported the injured to the hospital.
