Gondatwisa, July 15<\/strong>: Tension gripped Gonda twisa as Minister Tinku Roy<\/strong>, former MP Rebati Tripura, MLA Ram Pada Jamatia, and BJP state vice-president Subal Bhowmik, along with others, faced the wrath of the distressed public. To escape the public anger, they sought refuge at the Sub-Divisional Magistrate’s (SDM) office in Gonda Twisa\/Gandacherra, but the agitated crowd followed them there as well, causing damage to the office. The police managed to control the situation, preventing it from escalating further.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Minister Tinku Roy<\/strong> informed the media that he visited the violence-affected areas in Gandatwisa and carefully listened to the grievances of the victims. He stated that the state government has already taken necessary steps to restore peace in Gandatwisa and to provide financial assistance and all kinds of support to the victims to bring back normalcy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He further mentioned that a significant meeting was held at the SDM’s office involving administrative officials, local market traders, a delegation of violence victims, and local citizens. The discussions were productive, according to the minister.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Appeal for Patience<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Minister Tinku Roy<\/strong> urged the affected people to remain patient. When asked about the public anger leading to the vandalism at the SDM’s office, he said it was an expression of the victims’ frustration. He appealed to everyone to maintain peace and cooperate with the administration. “We need to move forward together for development; violence is never a solution,” he emphasized.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
