This traditional culture and heritage are our legacy. Our society and culture will become even more prosperous if we carry forward this legacy through the hands of the next generation.&#8221; He further mentioned that the Kharchi Festival at the Chaturdash Devata Temple brings together people from all communities in the state, fostering unity and brotherhood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Chief Minister said, &#8220;India&#8217;s heritage and culture are ancient and rich. Our society and culture will become even more prosperous if we carry forward this legacy through the hands of the next generation.&#8221; He further mentioned that the Kharchi Festival at the Chaturdash Devata Temple brings together people from all communities in the state, fostering unity and brotherhood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Public Holiday Announcement<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Since this year&#8217;s Kharchi Festival begins on a Sunday, the final day of the festival, July 20, 2024, has been declared a public holiday. It is through the combined efforts of various departments and everyone involved that this fair can be made successful.&#8221; MLA Rampada Jamatia also spoke at the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The inauguration ceremony was attended by Tourism Minister Sushanta Chowdhury, MLA Deepak Majumdar, Chairman of Old Agartala Panchayat Samiti Biswajit Shil, and social worker Amit Kumar Nandi, among others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The grand celebration of the Kharchi Festival in Tripura highlights the necessity of preserving the continuity of traditional culture and emphasizes environmental awareness.
