This grand event, inaugurated by Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha on July 6, was a joint initiative by the Department of Information and Cultural Affairs and the Melaghar Town Council.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Inauguration and Cultural Festivities<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Held at the Rabindra Mukta Manch in the Melaghar Jagannath Bari Field, the festival featured a series of cultural programs each evening. Solo performances included 29 dancers and 14 musicians. In addition to solo acts, 18 organizations presented ensemble music, while 24 groups performed ensemble dance routines. The festival also highlighted the physical prowess of students from local schools, who participated in yoga exhibitions over a span of three days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Community and Cultural Significance<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Melaghar Rath Yatra cultural festival not only celebrated the local heritage but also fostered a sense of community and artistic collaboration.
