The towering iron chariot accidentally touched a hanging high-tension electric wire, resulting in a fatal electrocution. Numerous individuals, including those pushing the &#8216;Rath&#8217; and those seated on top, were affected by the electric shock and forcefully thrown off the chariot. Four critically injured individuals were immediately transported to GBP Hospital in Agartala, while twenty others were sent to local hospitals in Kumarghat, Ambassa, Fatikroy, and Kulai. Sources report that several victims remain in critical condition, raising concerns about the possibility of further casualties. Preliminary investigations suggest that the accident occurred due to the towering height of the chariot, which came into contact with the lower-than-usual hanging 33 KV electric line. The Chief Minister is expected to reach the site within the shortest possible time to assess the situation personally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We express our deepest condolences to the families of the deceased and fervently pray for the swift recovery of the injured victims. This unforeseen disaster serves as a poignant reminder of the need for utmost caution and safety during religious celebrations.
