However, Saurashtra&#8217;s batting line-up failed to withstand the pressure and were bowled out for 208 runs, handing Tripura a convincing 133-run victory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For Tripura, Sandeep Sarkar was the standout performer with four wickets, while A. Sarkar claimed three wickets. The bowling unit played a decisive role in securing the team&#8217;s first victory of the season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Speaking after the match, Tripura cricketer Manishankar Murasing said the team was familiar with the conditions in Agartala and made good use of that advantage. He admitted that the team had not expected to defeat a strong side like Saurashtra but gradually realised that victory was possible as the match progressed, session by session.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Murasing also highlighted the importance of staying focused on the present rather than dwelling on the defeats in the opening three matches. He said the team had continued its preparations and tried to carry forward the positive aspects of playing at home. He further acknowledged that spending more time together as a team could have helped improve coordination, but expressed confidence that this victory would significantly boost the players&#8217; morale ahead of their upcoming fixtures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tripura&#8217;s coach also praised the bowling and fielding units, particularly highlighting the performances of Sandeep Sarkar and Abhijit. According to the coach, disciplined bowling, maintaining the right line and length, and exploiting the conditions were key factors behind the victory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The coach pointed out that Tripura&#8217;s 150-run first-innings lead gave the team control of the match. Although he was not entirely satisfied with the batting performance in the second innings, he said the 342-run target proved difficult for Saurashtra to chase in the fourth innings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Looking ahead, the coach expressed confidence that the batting department would improve during the upcoming T20 and 50-over competitions.
