Following the collision, the Alto was left badly damaged, while traffic congestion developed in the area.<br><br>According to Alto driver Sanjib Paul, he was driving in his lane amid heavy traffic when the truck allegedly hit his car from behind. He claimed that the truck continued pushing and dragging his vehicle from near the roundabout to the Drop Gate area. Paul said he narrowly escaped and described the incident as potentially fatal.<br><br>However, the truck driver denied the allegations, claiming that he was driving straight along the road and that the Alto had approached from the left side and collided with his vehicle. He also maintained that there were no visible impact marks on his truck.<br><br>Both drivers presented conflicting accounts of the accident. The exact circumstances leading to the collision remain unclear.
