The house owner, identified as Swadesh Chandra Das, was arrested in connection with the seizure.<br><br>According to police sources, the operation was conducted at around 8:30 pm following a tip-off. A team led by Jatrapur Police Station Officer-in-Charge Parthanath Bhowmik, along with Sub-Inspector Bijoy Chakraborty, Assistant Sub-Inspector Tapas Das and other Tripura State Rifles (TSR) personnel, searched the residence and recovered the contraband stored in plastic drums.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"719\" height=\"894\" src=\"https:\/\/aguli.in\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/IMG-20261023-WA0040.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-27340\" title=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/aguli.in\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/IMG-20261023-WA0040.jpg 719w, https:\/\/aguli.in\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/IMG-20261023-WA0040-241x300.jpg 241w, https:\/\/aguli.in\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/IMG-20261023-WA0040-150x187.jpg 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 719px) 100vw, 719px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br><br>The house owner was reportedly found inside the house during the search. Police seized the suspected narcotic substance and took the accused to Jatrapur Police Station for further investigation.<br><br>The police registered a case under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.
