{"id":26942,"date":"2026-10-04T17:30:37","date_gmt":"2026-10-04T17:30:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/aguli.in\/?p=26942"},"modified":"2026-10-04T17:31:34","modified_gmt":"2026-10-04T17:31:34","slug":"around-400-ncc-cadets-explore-tripuras-heritage-wildlife-border-areas-and-adventure-activities","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/aguli.in\/index.php\/2026\/10\/04\/around-400-ncc-cadets-explore-tripuras-heritage-wildlife-border-areas-and-adventure-activities\/","title":{"rendered":"Around 400 NCC Cadets Explore Tripura\u2019s Heritage, Wildlife, Border Areas and Adventure Activities"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Tripura, 04 Oct 2026:<\/strong> Around 400 NCC cadets participating in the Bir Bikram Ekta Camp \/ Special National Integration Camp (SNIC\u2013I), Agartala 2026\u201327, explored Tripura\u2019s rich heritage, biodiversity, historical landmarks, border areas and adventure activities as part of a series of educational and cultural visits organised by the 13 Tripura Battalion NCC under the aegis of the NCC Directorate, North Eastern Region.<br><br>The visits were aimed at providing cadets with first-hand exposure to Tripura\u2019s cultural heritage, history, natural beauty and strategic significance, while promoting national integration, environmental awareness, adventure and responsible citizenship.<br><br>The cadets visited the Mata Tripureswari Temple in Udaipur, where they learned about one of Tripura\u2019s most important spiritual and cultural landmarks and its historical significance.<br><br>At Sepahijala Wildlife Sanctuary, the cadets experienced Tripura\u2019s rich biodiversity and gained greater awareness of wildlife conservation, environmental protection and the importance of preserving natural resources.<br><br>The contingent also visited Neermahal in Melaghar, the iconic water palace situated in the middle of Rudrasagar Lake. The visit offered the cadets an opportunity to learn about Tripura\u2019s royal heritage, architecture and cultural history.<br><br>As part of the programme, the cadets visited the Akhaura Integrated Check Post and adjoining border area, gaining valuable insights into India\u2019s international border management, national security and the strategic importance of the region.<br><br>Adding an adventurous dimension to the programme, the cadets also participated in a paramotor activity at Melaghar.
