MLA Pinaki Das Chowdhury, SC Sub-Committee Chairman Samir Kumar Das, Khowai Municipal Council Chairman Debashish Nath Sharma, the college principal, Information and Cultural Affairs Department official Rupak Acharya and others attended the event.<br><br>Speaking at the programme, Samir Kumar Das discussed Upadhyaya\u2019s life, work and ideals, particularly his concepts of Integral Humanism and Antyodaya. Speakers highlighted the importance of focusing on the development and welfare of people at the bottom of society and taking Upadhyaya\u2019s ideas on morality, duty and social welfare to the younger generation.<br><br>In Dharmanagar, the Sub-Divisional Information and Cultural Affairs Office and Dharmanagar Municipal Council jointly organised a programme at Vivekananda Sardha Shatabarshiki Bhavan.
