{"id":26649,"date":"2026-09-25T14:14:14","date_gmt":"2026-09-25T14:14:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/aguli.in\/?p=26649"},"modified":"2026-09-25T14:14:15","modified_gmt":"2026-09-25T14:14:15","slug":"tripura-cm-manik-saha-recalls-deendayal-upadhyayas-ideals","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/aguli.in\/index.php\/2026\/09\/25\/tripura-cm-manik-saha-recalls-deendayal-upadhyayas-ideals\/","title":{"rendered":"Tripura CM Manik Saha recalls Deendayal Upadhyaya\u2019s ideals"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Agartala, September 25:<\/strong> Tripura Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha on Friday said the principles advocated by Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya, including Integral Humanism and \u2018Antyodaya\u2019, remain relevant to efforts aimed at ensuring inclusive development and the welfare of disadvantaged sections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He made the remarks at a programme organised by the Information and Cultural Affairs Department at Muktadhara Auditorium here to commemorate Upadhyaya\u2019s birth anniversary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Saha said Upadhyaya\u2019s concept of \u2018Antyodaya\u2019 placed particular emphasis on ensuring that development and welfare benefits reach people at the last mile. He said the philosophy continues to serve as an inspiration for pursuing the comprehensive development of society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The programme began with dignitaries offering floral tributes to Upadhyaya\u2019s portrait.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Agartala Municipal Corporation Mayor Dipak Majumder, MLA Meena Rani Sarkar, ICA Director Bimbisar Bhattacharya, local corporators and other dignitaries attended the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Recalling Upadhyaya\u2019s life and contribution, Saha spoke about his views on Indian society and culture and his emphasis on improving the quality of life of people. He described him as a prominent thinker and philosopher who made a contribution to India\u2019s social and political thought.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Chief Minister stressed the importance of continuing efforts to support people at the margins of society and said Upadhyaya\u2019s ideals could provide inspiration in pursuing public welfare.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Other speakers discussed Upadhyaya\u2019s life, highlighting his simple lifestyle, patriotism and organisational abilities.
