Nadda for supporting the increase in MBBS seats at the institution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In a social media post, Saha said the enhanced intake would provide more opportunities for students from Tripura and contribute to strengthening the state\u2019s healthcare and medical education infrastructure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">AGMC had been admitting 150 MBBS students each year. With the latest approval, the institution will now have an annual intake of 250 students, creating 100 additional opportunities for aspiring medical professionals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With the revised capacity, AGMC joins the group of established medical institutions across India that admit 250 MBBS students annually. Institutions with comparable intake capacities include Maulana Azad Medical College in New Delhi, B.J. Medical College in Gujarat, Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute, SMS Medical College in Jaipur, Madras Medical College in Chennai and King George\u2019s Medical University in Lucknow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The increase in seats is part of the broader expansion of medical education capacity and healthcare infrastructure in the country.
