During the operation, police noticed two individuals carrying separate bags and walking towards Jogendranagar Railway Station.<br><br>When officers signalled them to stop, the two allegedly attempted to flee. Police personnel chased and apprehended them.<br><br>Following their detention, officers searched the bags and reportedly found suspected ganja. The police subsequently requested the presence of an Executive Magistrate to conduct the search procedure.<br><br>According to the police statement, six packets of suspected dry ganja were recovered, with each packet weighing approximately 3 kg, bringing the total seizure to 18 kg. The estimated market value of the seized substance is more than \u20b95 lakh.<br><br>Police stated that the seizure process is underway and an NDPS case will be registered against the two detained individuals.<br><br>During the briefing, police indicated that the suspected ganja may have been collected from Agartala and was possibly being transported outside the area through the railway station. However, the exact source and intended destination are yet to be confirmed.<br><br>Police also stated that the possibility of involvement of additional individuals would be examined during the investigation.<br><br>The identities of the two detained individuals have not been disclosed.
