Tripura, 18 Sep 2026<\/strong>: A special \u2018Ashirwad Ka Diya\u2019 (Lamp of Blessings) programme was organised in Sabroom under the nationwide \u2018Seva Sankalp Abhiyan\u2019 to commemorate Prime Minister Narendra Modi\u2019s birthday and honour his long journey of public service.

The programme was conducted under the administrative supervision of the Sabroom Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) office in South Tripura district. The lighting of lamps symbolised hope, progress, positivity and goodwill in the border region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The initiative was held at several important locations, including the Sabroom Land Port, a key centre of international trade, Maitri Setu, the SDM office, Sabroom Nagar Panchayat area and multiple Fair Price Shops.

The programme was conducted under the overall supervision and direct monitoring of Sabroom SDM Suman Rakshit. Deputy Collectors and Magistrates, departmental employees, local representatives, and senior and young citizens participated in the event.

Officials present at the programme stated that the initiative aimed to take the ideals and principles of Prime Minister Narendra Modi\u2019s public service closer to people living in marginalised communities.

The lighting of the \u2018Ashirwad Ka Diya\u2019 conveyed a message of unity, welfare and collective goodwill among people from different sections of society.
