Organisers said students could use the library not only for meeting course-related requirements but also for independent study, reference work and research.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Prof. Das extended his support to the initiative and encouraged participants to utilise the library\u2019s resources more effectively, the university said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">University Librarian Dr Champeswar Mishra coordinated the programme with members of the Central Library team. Teachers and university officials also took part in the rally, which highlighted the importance of developing a sustained interest in books, scholarly material and independent learning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to the organisers, regular access to books, journals and other academic resources enables students to broaden their knowledge and explore subjects beyond the prescribed syllabus. The library can also provide researchers and scholars with resources necessary for deeper academic inquiry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The awareness drive was aimed at creating greater interest in reading and fostering a research-oriented atmosphere across the campus.
