The incident occurred at around 7:05\u20137:10 PM, according to a traffic police officer.<br><br>Preliminary information suggests that the motorcycle carrying the two youths was travelling at high speed when it met with an accident near Magbari. The exact circumstances of the crash, including whether another vehicle was involved, are yet to be established.<br><br>Teliamura Fire Service personnel said they received an emergency call regarding the accident and immediately rushed to the spot. They found two youths lying on the road along with the motorcycle and shifted them to Teliamura Sub-Divisional Hospital.<br><br>A Fire Service personnel said the two victims were found in a very serious condition and were immediately taken to the hospital. Their identities were not known at that time.<br><br>At the hospital, doctors examined the two youths, who were estimated to be between 20 and 25 years of age. According to the attending doctor, both had sustained multiple injuries, including severe injuries to the head, hands and legs. Neither victim was responding physically or verbally. After examination, both were declared brought dead.<br><br>The hospital subsequently informed Teliamura Police Station, while efforts were underway to establish the identities of the deceased and contact their families.<br><br>A police officer at the accident site said the victims had already been shifted before police arrived and that the exact circumstances of the accident would be determined through investigation.<br><br>Meanwhile, SI Nibaran Das of the Teliamura Traffic Unit said traffic personnel were on duty in the area to control vehicle speeds and prevent accidents. He said vehicles coming from outside the state often travelled at excessive speeds and that traffic personnel were attempting to ensure that vehicles passed through the area at a slower speed.<br><br>According to the officer, the motorcycle suddenly approached at a very high speed and crashed. He estimated that the motorcycle may have been travelling at around 60\u201380 kmph, although the exact speed will have to be established through investigation and available evidence.<br><br>The incident has also triggered questions among local residents regarding traffic management at the location. Some residents alleged that traffic personnel and an interceptor vehicle were stationed approximately 20 metres from the accident spot and claimed that immediate assistance was not provided to the victims.<br><br>Local residents further alleged that traffic-control arrangements and barricades in the area may have contributed to the accident. They questioned whether adequate measures were in place to ensure the safe movement of vehicles, particularly during the evening.<br><br>However, these allegations could not be independently verified, and police have not confirmed any negligence on the part of the traffic personnel.
