{"id":26212,"date":"2026-09-12T12:57:09","date_gmt":"2026-09-12T12:57:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/aguli.in\/?p=26212"},"modified":"2026-09-12T13:09:01","modified_gmt":"2026-09-12T13:09:01","slug":"two-held-with-yaba-pistol-ammunition-in-sepahijala","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/aguli.in\/index.php\/2026\/09\/12\/two-held-with-yaba-pistol-ammunition-in-sepahijala\/","title":{"rendered":"Two Held With Yaba, Pistol, Ammunition in Sepahijala"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Agartala, September 11:<\/strong> A joint operation by Tripura Police and the BSF in Sepahijala district led to the arrest of two men and the seizure of <strong>120 grams of Yaba tablets, a factory-made pistol and five live rounds<\/strong>, police said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The raid was conducted in the <strong>South Kalamchoura (Galachipa)<\/strong> area of Sonamura sub-division following a specific intelligence input about suspected illegal activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Personnel from <strong>Kalamchoura and Sonamura police stations<\/strong>, along with members of the <strong>81st Battalion BSF<\/strong>, took part in the operation under the supervision of the Sonamura SDPO.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The arrested persons were identified as <strong>Joynal Hossen, 37, of Madhya Boxanagar, and Prasanjit Sarkar, 35, of South Kalamchoura<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to police, the recovery was made during the search of the area. The narcotics, firearm and ammunition were subsequently seized for further legal proceedings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A case has been registered under relevant provisions of the <strong>NDPS Act and Arms Act<\/strong>.
