Party leaders have described the appointment as a matter of pride for the state, saying it has generated renewed enthusiasm among BJP workers and supporters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tripura Pradesh BJP General Secretary <strong>Bhagaban Chandra Das<\/strong> appealed to party workers at all levels to participate in the programme, which will be held at <strong>Rabindra Shatabarshiki Bhavan<\/strong> in Agartala.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Das said Deb\u2019s appointment to the post of National General Secretary was a significant achievement for Tripura and reflected the importance of the state\u2019s leadership within the BJP\u2019s national organisational structure. He urged party workers and supporters to attend the programme in large numbers and make the felicitation event a success.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to the party, the programme is expected to witness the participation of BJP leaders from different organisational levels, elected representatives, party workers and supporters from across the state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Deb is scheduled to receive a warm welcome at <strong>Maharaja Bir Bikram Airport<\/strong> in Agartala following his arrival. Party leaders and workers are expected to gather at the airport to extend their greetings and best wishes to him on assuming his new responsibility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He will subsequently be taken to Rabindra Shatabarshiki Bhavan, where the formal felicitation programme will be organised. Party leaders and workers will honour Deb and convey their wishes for his new role in the BJP\u2019s national organisation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The state BJP has sought to project the appointment as an important moment for Tripura, particularly for the party\u2019s organisational workers and supporters.
