The blockade caused significant traffic congestion, with a large number of vehicles stranded on both sides of the road in the Nabinchhara area.<br><br>Police from Pecharthal Police Station, along with officials from the Unakoti District Education Department and other administrative authorities, reached the spot to control the situation and hold discussions with the students.<br><br>Following assurances from the officials, the students withdrew the blockade at around 12:30 PM.<br><br>However, the protesters warned that they would launch a larger agitation if adequate teachers are not appointed at the school at the earliest.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Tripura, 25 August 2026: Students of Nabinchhara Class XII School in Pecharthal blocked the Assam\u2013Agartala National Highway (NH-8) on Monday morning, protesting against the acute shortage of teachers at their school.
