The organisers claim the movement is aimed at securing rehabilitation benefits, identity cards, settlement of pending cases and recognition of cadres whose names they allege remain unlisted or unaccepted in government records.<br><br>According to the speakers, their coalition includes members associated with NLFT-PD, NLFT-UOI, NLFT (Ori), ATTF and other factions. They claim around 1,272 names are included in their list, while many more former cadres allegedly remain outside official records.<br><br>The organisers said their seven-point charter of demands includes issuing proper identity cards to surrendered cadres, resolving pending court cases, finalising rehabilitation for former underground cadres, providing benefits to families of deceased cadres, and extending rehabilitation entitlements to those who surrendered through the BSF, TSR, CRPF, police or other security agencies.<br><br>They also raised concerns over alleged irregularities in citizenship and identity documentation involving migrants, and called for an inquiry into the matter.<br><br>The agitation is scheduled to begin officially at 7:00 AM on August 28, with proposed gathering points at Baramura (Sadupara) and the Birchandra Manu\/Baragodas (Birgudas Para) railway line area. The organisers said the movement would continue indefinitely and that they would begin a hunger strike from the first day.<br><br>The speakers also responded to recent statements allegedly made by senior leaders questioning their participation in the movement. They rejected allegations that some former cadres had returned to underground militancy and challenged critics to produce verified evidence.<br><br>The organisers further stated that ambulances, fire services, police and administrative vehicles, and marriage-related vehicles would be allowed to pass during the blockade, while ordinary vehicular movement would remain blocked.
