Various issues concerning the state, including the overall situation, ongoing development activities and organisational matters, were discussed during the meeting.<br><br>Speaking to reporters after the meeting, party president and MLA Abhishek Debroy said that discussions focused mainly on organisational issues and preparations for upcoming elections.<br><br>Debroy said the meeting would help formulate strategies on various matters and discuss steps required to strengthen the party in the coming days. He said discussions were also held regarding the upcoming VC election and elections to Nagar Panchayats, Municipal Councils and the Municipal Corporation.<br><br>On the possibility of an alliance with the Tipra Motha Party, Debroy said that the BJP is a national party and such matters are determined at the central level. He said Tipra Motha is currently part of the alliance and discussions are ongoing.<br><br>\u201cDiscussion is going on. You will get the news.
