The couple reportedly lived together at their residence, while their two daughters and one son were married and living separately with their respective families.<br><br>According to family members, the couple was allegedly found after receiving information from neighbours. Speaking about the incident, their son-in-law Ajit said that he and his family were in Agartala when they received a phone call from neighbours informing them that his mother-in-law and father-in-law had reportedly consumed poison and died.<br><br>Ajit said that after receiving the information, he immediately rushed to Tamakari. However, he stated that he was not aware of any specific dispute or problem involving the couple before the incident.<br><br>Meanwhile, a local resident and relative spoke about the circumstances in the village and referred to recent community meetings and local discussions held in connection with various issues. The person also described the events surrounding the incident and the arrival of police at the spot.<br><br>Police reached the area after receiving information about the deaths and began an investigation. Local residents and relatives were questioned as part of the preliminary inquiry.<br><br>The exact circumstances leading to the deaths are yet to be established.
